Addresses
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Addresses represent physical locations associated with schemes and developments. Formation supports geospatial data for mapping and location-based features.
Viewing Addresses
Section titled “Viewing Addresses”Navigate to Addresses in the main application to browse and search the address directory.
Creating an Address
Section titled “Creating an Address”- Click New Address
- Fill in the address fields:
- Address lines — Street-level address information
- Town/City — The town or city
- Postcode — UK postcode
- Country — Select the country
- Optionally set the Location (latitude/longitude) using the map picker
- Save the address
Map View
Section titled “Map View”Addresses with location data are displayed on an interactive map. You can:
- Pan and zoom to explore different areas
- Click markers to view address details
- Draw boundaries to define scheme areas
Geometry Data
Section titled “Geometry Data”Formation stores geometry data in WKT (Well-Known Text) format. The map interface converts between WKT and visual representations automatically.
